Demonstrate Leadership in Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy.
…at least 50 percent of state building operators and managers will have attended Building Operator Certification (BOC) training … or other appropriate training approved by the Real Property Executive Committee, to operate existing energy-consuming equipment in state owned buildings in the most efficient manner possible.

MEEA’s Building Operator Certification (BOC) training includes nearly 60 hours of classroom and project work (6.1 CEUs) in building systems operation and maintenance. 6 full days in class; one meeting a month
AFE’s Building Operator Certification Program two levels of certification, Certified Plant Maintenance Manager (CPMM) or Certified Plant Supervisor (CPS). The focus is maintenance Training is offered out of state and is typically four days long
with the examination included.
