Participating in the traineeship program was an invaluable learning experience for me….the board was supportive throughout my learning journey and regularly stopped to explain important concepts, point out legal obligations, and answer any questions that I or the other trainees had.
Heather McAulay
It greatly increased my confidence - not only my confidence in my ability to be a director, but my confidence in myself.
Ruth Pitt
The board trainee program certainly helped me understand what my obligations would be as a board director….Watching other board members, I learned how best I could contribute.
