The wonderful thing is, he gave this even knowing that he was to be forbidden by God to build the temple.

David believed in giving to the Lord only the very best. Nothing was withheld.

Under the old covenant the Lord demanded a tenth of all – no exceptions.

There are no imposed limitations under the new covenant.

A tenth is a good starting place for Christians.
