The students from both departments enjoyed the bless- ing of attending the Brown Trail School of Preaching lec- tureship this past January 10-12. Several graduates from BTSOP came over to present an exposition of the Gospel according to Matthew. We are happy to report that the attendance to the lectureship was very encouraging. I re- ally enjoyed the opportunity to present a lesson on chap- ters 17, 18 and 19. We really en- joyed a time of fellowship and study of God’s Word. We are really thankful to the Mission Printing ministry for providing Spanish tracts that are used to evangelize during our door-knocking campaigns. Please keep this much needed ministry in your prayers as they try to con- tinue providing Bible tracts to make known the Gospel of Christ. BTSOPSD needs your help very much. The school exist only to prepare men who will dedicate their entire lives to the preaching of the old Jerusalem gospel. Please consider the following ways you can help us. 1. Keep the school in your prayers 2. Provide any financial support for a student 3. Include the school of preaching in your personal and

congregational budget 4. Consider raising a special contribution at the end of

each month for the school of preaching 5. Consider a one-time donation for the school 6. Encourage students to come and study at the

BTSOPSD 7. Provide support for an instructor 8. Provide support for the Director of the Spanish De-

partment 9. Give us an opportunity to make a school presentation

at your congregation 10. Provide gift cards for the students 11. Provide laptop computers for the students

These are only a few areas in which you can help the School of Preaching. It is my fervent prayer that you will consider one or more of these ways you can help us. The School will not go on unless we have students who have the desire to preach the gospel, and supporters who have the vision to help men prepare for the preaching of the gospel. May God give you the opportunity and the blessing to be part of this much-needed ministry. To God be the glory in everything we do for Him!

We are thankful to God for the opportunity to serve Him in 2016. It is He who gives us the strength and the wisdom to continue training faithful gospel preachers. We are happy to inform you that 2016 marks the

beginning of our twelfth year of service for the

Spanish department at the Brown Trail School of Preaching. 37 students have graduated from the Spanish department since its beginning in 2004. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is being spread in many places in Texas, Ar-kansas, Geor-gia, Mexico and Central America. We are indeed thankful to God for the opportunity to have a school where stu-dents can come in and receive training in their own language. Every student who attends the Spanish department will re-ceive training in 56 Bible related courses. They also receive training in the Greek language, a knowledge that will assist them in writing their own Bible commen-taries, and thus producing a well of knowledge that will be beneficial to those who desire to learn God’s Word. The great emphasis upon the memorization of the Scriptures will equip them to be ready to teach the Word of God, anytime, any-where. The emphasis upon a humble ser-vice in God’s kingdom will open many doors to serve God and the brethren. Friends, much good is being accomplished at the school of preaching, and for this, we

ask that you please keep us in your thoughts and prayers. All the great good that is being done is only possible due to the love and generosity of those who sup-port the school. Thanks to the support and prayers of many, we now have several preachers in Mexico, USA and Central America. We hope and pray those who are not sup-porting the school may do so. You can help many people hear the gospel in the Span-ish language by supporting one of our stu-dents. Please give us an opportunity to vis-it you and to inform you about the great work we are doing at the Brown Trail

School of Preaching. A great work like this one cannot con-tinue unless we have f a i t h f u l brethren sup-porting us f in anc ial ly . For this rea-

son, at this time we beg you to please prayerfully consider assisting our efforts to spread the gospel to the whole world. The photo you see here shows the Spanish department for January of 2016. In this picture you also see the new students who began their classes on January 4. We have a total of 9 full time students and 2 that are auditing some of the classes. It is so rewarding to see their excitement as they learn the Word of God on a daily basis. The instructors that will be teaching them are committed to assisting them in their spiritual growth. This will be accom-plished through sound teaching in the classroom as well as assistance on a per-sonal basis. As stated before, please con-tinue to pray for all of the students and their families.
