Learn to Write Computer Code and Build Small Electronics

with ARDUINO! Arduino is a credit card-sized, programmable

microcontroller that can read sensors, turn on lights, run motors,

and more, based on the code you write. Ages 10-18

Friday, March 9 3:15-4:45 pm Thursday, May 3 6:00-7:30 pm Arduino Club For students who have attended an Arduino at the Library class. A guided activity will expand your coding and Arduino knowledge, and open play with our kits and electronic components to explore more. Bring your own ideas, get project suggestions, and/or show off Arduino creations you’ve brought from home. Space limited; call 448-5846 to register for one or both halves of an Arduino Club session.

Serial Monitors Learn to use Arduino ’s serial monitor to receive and send data, track temperature and light in the room, and control LED lights from a computer.

LCD Screens Post a message or watch the status of your project through a simple LCD screen! We’ll say “Hello world!” by wiring up an LCD and Arduino.

Monday, April 16 3:30-5:30 pm Make your own LED Bracelet This program combines fashion, sewing, and technology together to create a light up LED bracelet with fabric, conductive thread, and LED lights.
