Objective of the Seminar

Who can attend the seminar?

Indian Aeronautics, both military and civil is uniquely poised with it’s diverse developments ready to be catapulted into the global aerospace arena. Due to the overwhelming support and involvement of the government in the demand and supply of defense and civil aerospace products, the industry has set itself on the firm path towards a radical change. There are encouraging signs of the aerospace industry emerging as a major factor in India's increasing self-reliance as well as in the export-oriented sectors. Various tie-ups and joint ventures are being made with the global aerospace industry majors and at the same time, domestic aeronautical capability is being significantly enhanced, through indigenous design and development of world class flying machines and advanced research programs to cater for the future technological challenges.

With an objective to foster awareness about the technological advances and future challenges in Aeronautics, The AeSI Alumni Association (AeSIAA) is organising a one day seminar jointly with the Bangalore chapter of the Aeronautical Society of India. Theme of the seminar is “

”. The subject matter would be deliberated through invited talks by the eminent scientists, researchers and practitioners from both the public and the private sectors of the Indian aerospace industry. This seminar aims to provide awareness and encouragement to the young professionals working in various national aeronautical establishments and to engineering students.

The subsequent editions of SEMAA would also provide a platform for the alumnus as well as students of AeSI to share their expertise and innovations through contributory papers.
