Programmes and activities developed within the framework of the Escola International del Camp and

external, recreational, sports and cultural activities aimed at all children and young people who want to

live an unforgettable experience in an English environment. Differentiated schedules by ages and

academic levels.

Within the EIC Summer Programmes we also offer a Spanish language programme, aimed at young

people who are new to the area and who need to improve the level of this language. It is also aimed at

foreign schools who want to carry out a language and cultural immersion programme, with the option

of spending these days in EIC families or in residential accommodation.

Skating, Volleyball, Cooking, Golf, Science and Horse riding.

These programmes are designed so that the participants of the Summer Camp can alterna-te a week of Skills and then can continue with the Summer Camp programmes or Summer School.

The Skills Programmes are designed by specialised professionals exclusively for EIC SUMMER. During this week we deepen our knowledge of each of the different activities.

All programmes have a minimum and a

maximum of participants, so it is very

important that interested families register

as far in advance as possible.

EIC & British Summer collaborates to offer different options so that all participants can choose a language and a country.

Each programme has different characteristics differentiated to fit the needs of the students and the requirements of each family.

Interested families can ask us for information and we will advise them in detail about the most suitable destination for each student.

Specific programme of volleyball directed by Marta and Jordi Gens. The training sessions will be adapted to the level of the different groups and will follow a technical progression of learning linked to the theoretical sessions. The technical and recreational component will be the main objective of the sessions, allowing the player to progress in their level while enjo-ying the sport.

Skating programme aimed at children who already know how to skate and for those who have no experience. Intensive morning of figure skating and in line, directed by the Club Dojo Tarraco. Basic and advanced techniques of the different styles will be combined combi-ning complementary activities.

Optional: Participants in this activity can stay for lunch and spend the afternoon in the EIC to join the activities of the Summer Camp group.

Programme of 20 sessions of cooking and baking in the School of Catering and Tourism de Cambrils with its technical team. During the morning they will plan and prepare a com-plete menu (appetizer, first and second course and desserts) and to finish the session they will eat the food they have prepared. In the afternoon they will enjoy a well-deserved and refreshing swim in the beach near the centre.

Transport: families will drop off and pick up participants at the Escola d'Hoteleria i Turisme de Cambrils.

Intensive morning programme led by coach Andy Gordon of Lumine Golf. Special course for EIC participants. Programme that allows children to progress and learn in a fun envi-ronment. All aspects of golf will be worked on: short game, theory, game rules...

The coach will be continually challenging the participants to improve their golf skills and their physical development!

Transport: This programme has transport by Lumine Golf. Families will collect and pick up their children from the EIC, the mee-ting point being in the Entrance Hall.

Optional: Participants in this activity can stay for lunch and spend the afternoon in the EIC to join the activities of the Summer Camp group.

participants at the Horseriding Centre.

Riding School directed by Josep Castells.Beginners’ pony or horse riding classes for children and young people for beginners and intermediate classes for all who already have experience. Intensive in the morning where you will work on basic techniques and indivi-dual practice of horse or pony riding. During this week you will share the daily work of the world of horse riding related to hygiene, food and clothing of these incredible animals.

Flexible programme option:

· Full days with breakfast, lunch, tea and afternoon activities, from 9:00 am. to 5:00 pm.

· Intensive days with lunch and tea but no afternoon activity, from 9:00 am. to 3:00 pm.

· Half Days (English School or Spanish/Catalan School) from 9:00 am. to 1:00 pm.

· Out of hours care service will be organised from 7.30am. to 9.00 am.

*All participants will be given a T-shirt and an EIC SUMMER cap that they will wear during the days they participate in the different programmes.
