Selamat datang!

It gives me great pleasure to welcome the SEASAC Boys

Rugby and Girls Touch teams to BIS Jakarta for the 2012

tournament. Involving 20 teams from 10 different schools,

this promises to be an action-packed event for all concerned.

We are hoping that the new 7-a-side format breathes life

back into the SEASAC Rugby competition and that the Girls

Touch continues to go from strength to strength.

I hope you all have a great experience and that you make

the most of the opportunities and challenges that high level

international sport can provide.

I would like to thank all of the staff at BIS who have worked

tirelessly in preparation for this event and to all our visitors

for the efforts that they have made to be with us for this

sporting extravaganza!

AllIRB7ruleswillbeineffectwiththefollowingSEASACmodications;The tournament will run as a two day tournament with play-offs.

RefereesShouldbeIRBqualied.

Medical SupportTheremustbeaqualieddoctorandanambulanceonsiteduringallplay.

Rules Theteamswillconsistofasquadofuptonomorethan12players. Rollingsubsarepermitted.

Eachgameis7minutesperhalfwitha2minuteshalftimebreak.

ForFinals,10minutesperhalfwillbeplayedwith3minutehalftimebreak.

Playersneedtobe15yearsandoveronthedateofthetournamenttobeeligibletoparticipate.

15 year olds need to be judged to be physically capable and have parental permission to participate.

Pointswillbeallocatedasfollows:

Win=3pointsDraw=1pointLoss=0points.

Anyjudiciarymatterinvolvingaplayerbeingsentoffwillbehandledbythetournamentdirectorand

the referee of the match involving the sending off. A player is banned for the next game unless

the tournament director warrants the situation is particularly serious in which case tournament ban.

Yellowcardresultsinasinbinof2minutes.

ReplacementsReplacements can be made at anytime as long as replacement reports to the referee prior to entering

theeldofplay.Thereisnolimitonreplacements.

Tie-breaker (in case of a points draw in the league)

In the case of a drawn match in the head-to-head game or a multi-way tie the following shall be applied

RulesofPlay

1.PointswillbeallocatedasfollowsWin=3points

Draw=1point

Loss=0points.

2. In the case of a draw in play-off games a drop-off will be played.

All FIT Laws will be applied with the following SEASAC exceptions.

Allgamesare15minutesperhalfwitha5minutehalftime.

TeamsmustregisterattheControlDesk7minutespriortothetap-offforeachgameandcomplete

the coin toss.

Number of participants.

Maximum squad size 14.

Team colours

TherstnamedteamshallbetheHomeTeam.Intheeventofaclashofcolours,thesecondnamedteamshallhave

to change into an alternative set. All teams are advised to have a second, differently coloured kit available .

Tournament Tie-Breakers

Headtoheadresultinpoolgames:

a. In the case of a drawn match in the head-to-head game or a multi-way tie, the following shall be
