A bespoke itinerary designed by our captain offers guests the chance to explore exceptional reefs, deserted islands and breathtaking locations at leisure….
Sir Robin Knox-Johnston, the first man to perform a single-handed non-stop circumnavigation of the globe, onboard Soneva in Aqua.
THE DETAILS
The ultra-luxury and highly refined yacht is anchored at Soneva Fushi and measures 19.28 metres in length and 6.40 metres wide with a cruising speed of 6 knots. Whilst supported by engine power, the yacht’s mainsail relies on nature to provide the majority of its energy. The boat has a maximum occupancy of four adults and two children to provide the ultimate sense of exclusivity and privacy whilst offering intelligent luxury of the highest international standard.
Soneva in Aqua features a spacious master suite with a glass sunken bath and a full size en-suite shower room. The VIP suite offers a king-sized bed and also has en-suite facilities. Other features include an external raised sun and dining deck, a lower level bar and dining area plus daybeds, lounge seating and a Jacuzzi. Additional sun deck space is also available on a lower level for spa treatments and an internal library, lounge and dining room provide additional areas ideal for entertaining. The design features natural materials such as rich brown leathers, woods and organic cottons.
Soneva in Aqua has been built with environmentally zero emission meterials and all equipment including engines and generators are to the highest specification with regards to fuel saving efficiency.

FOOD & BEVERAGE OPTIONS
Soneva In Aqua provides guests with both indoor and outdoor dining experiences that promise to be both unique and memorable. Delightful menus are prepared in consultation with our guests to create some of their favourite dishes as well as some Maldivian specialties including fish and shellfish caught fresh from the ocean daily. Menus are designed by Soneva's executive chefs using local produce and where possible produce grown at the resort.
Meals are perfectly combined with a selection of quality international wines and spirits. The bar on the upper deck is the best place for sunset drinks and cocktails before dining. Additionally, guests can discover private islands or coves and dine under a starlit sky with sand beneath their toes whilst enjoying a simple barbeque or a romantic meal.
GUEST SERVICES & FACILITIES
Our highly skilled and trained crew on board includes Captain, Sous Chef, Mr Friday, and housekeeper. Our crew offers an uncompromised level of service with the utmost attention to guests needs’ whilst still offering utmost privacy. Our knowledgeable team offer guests the opportunity to tailor make their voyage according to daily weather conditions, diving or snorkelling requirements and cultural interests.
Guests can also enjoy the option of sleeping under the stars on the top sundeck. Stargazing is encouraged and the crew have been trained by the Soneva astronomer to assist you in discovering the skies at night.
ON BOARD SPA TREATMENTS
Spa treatments and wellness activities are available on board administered by our expertly trained spa therapist. Offering more than just friendly pampering, each holistic therapy provides an exhilarating sensory journey whilst at sea or on a secluded stretch of island. A private sunset massage on the sandbank, invigorating early morning Tai Chi or yoga on the deck – the possibilities are endless.
SNORKELLING & DIVING
Guests whose interest lies in diving are offered day, night and sunrise dives, with the possibility to dive twice during the day. Snorkeling is also available with presentations on the underwater ecology and environmental awareness. Sailing lessons, including map reading, are also given to our guests interested to learn.
*Diving programmes can be arranged in consultation with Soleni Dive Centre's expert advice.
Soneva in Aqua offers guests the luxury to choose from various charter routes that sail around and beyond the Baa Atoll. Guests can choose between one, two and three-night excursions depending on how much of the awe-inspiring sights of the Maldivian Atolls they wish to explore. Longer itineraries are also available on request. The menu will be prepared in consultation with guests based on their preferences and requirements, and can be fully customised. Both diving and snorkelling are available. Guests can choose to embark or disembark at either Soneva Fushi or Soneva Jani.

ONE NIGHT: SONEVA IN AQUA OVERNIGHT EXPERIENCE
Depart Soneva Fushi after breakfast and enjoy a leisurely sail to some of the incredible snorkelling and diving areas within the Baa Atoll, the only UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in the Maldives. Here, we may be lucky enough to spot turtles, dolphins and possibly manta rays (*season and weather dependent). After lunch, snorkel at leisure in the Coral Garden and enjoy a four-course dinner on-board Soneva in Aqua, or alternatively a candlelit dinner at Sobah’s restaurant on the shores of Mendhoo Island. Retreat for the evening to the indoor Jacuzzi with the glass-bottomed floor for a different view of the breath-taking marine life. Return in the morning to Soneva Fushi after a session of sunrise yoga on the top deck and a light breakfast.

TWO NIGHTS: BAA ATOLL DISCOVERY
After breakfast, we will welcome you on-board Soneva in Aqua where we will set sail to the deserted island of Nabiliga for reef snorkelling and diving (passing by turtle point and dolphin lookout),followed by a Robinson Crusoe Castaway Picnic. In the afternoon, enjoy a spa treatment from our Soneva in Aqua spa menu on the beach, in the privacy of your cabin or on the upper deck. As the sun sets, relax on our spacious outdoor loungers with sparkling wine and canapes while enjoying the sights and sounds of the Baa Atoll. Don’t forget to look out for dolphins! When you’re ready, a four-course meal will be served. Enjoy learning about the very unique Maldivian sky, which reveals stars and constellations from both the northern and southern hemispheres, before retiring for the evening.
Start the new day with sunrise yoga on the upper deck while we sail towards one of the best dive sites in the Baa Atoll. Maavaru Caves is famous for its corals and marine life, including the honeycomb Moray eel and the huge schools of fish. The overhangs of the cave are filled with soft corals of various pastel colours. Following the dive, a light lunch is offered before we head to another dive site, which is an unspoiled dive site and suitable for experienced divers due to the overhangs and channels. We will then move south towards Goidhoo, which is an important historical site as it was formerly a prison island. Here we can chat over coffee with the local people and explore the large vegetable and fruit farms still grown on the island. We finish the end of another beautiful day with sunset cocktails, followed by a barbecue dinner on Soneva Fushi’s private sandbank, with only the ocean and stars for company.
In the morning, enjoy a sunrise Tai Chi session on the deck followed by breakfast, before returning to Soneva Fushi.
THREE NIGHTS: THE TRI-ATOLL ADVENTURE
Our most popular itinerary, guests can get the full Maldivian island experience by exploring three of the most beautiful Atolls in the country: The Baa Atoll, the Raa Atoll and the Noonu Atoll.
After boarding Soneva in Aqua, we will set off on the two-hour journey towards the Raa Atoll, which is filled with uninhabited islands and beautiful scenery. In fact, right up until the 1990s, the Raa Atoll was completely off-limits to tourists, so remains very unspoilt and secluded. A light lunch is served on-board by your personal chef, and following this we will dive at Vadhoo Tila, Fenfushi Giri or Anemone city, depending on the guest preference. Parrotfish, Butterfly Fish and Nudibranchs are all in abundance. In the afternoon, we can do a spot of sustainable line fishing before relaxing for a sunset cruise with sparkling wine and canapes. A four-course dinner will be served following which a movie will be shown under the stars.
Start the day with sunrise yoga on the upper deck. Have a light breakfast before heading underwater in the Noonu Atoll, where it’s possible to see sharks and a beautiful reef called ‘Christmas Tree Rock’. All-aboard as we sail towards Soneva Jani, where guests can choose to either have lunch in one of the various dining outlets or even spend the night in one of Soneva Jani’s overwater villas (at an additional cost). Marvel at the incredible turquoise colour of our 5.6km private lagoon or enjoy a wellness treatment in our beautiful spa. Alternatively, we can visit one of the local historical islands and museums in the area, which proudly display the artefacts of the Atoll. In the evening, enjoy one of our signature experiences: An Astronomical Dinner Cruise, which is served on the upper deck and accompanied by stories from the crew of how they would have navigated using the night sky centuries before.
In the morning, enjoy sunrise meditation on the upper deck as Soneva in Aqua heads back to the Baa Atoll. On the way, we will stop off for snorkeling in Hanifaru Bay, part of the Biosphere protected area and a popular feeding and cleaning station for majestic manta rays (from May to November). A wreck dive could also be arranged in the Lavhiyani Atoll if time permits. If you would like, an authentic local Maldivian village lunch can be prepared for you by the islanders on the nearby Maalhos Island. There is also the chance to explore the island to see the old Mosque and cemetery.
Spend the afternoon relaxing with a spa treatment from our Soneva in Aqua spa menu in the privacy of your cabin or on the upper deck while soaking up the sunshine.
Savour your last night at sea with a sunset cocktail followed by a barbeque dinner on the deserted island of Nibiligaa and the chance to do some night snorkelling if you wish.
Enjoy one last wellness session of sunrise Tai Chi on the deck before the short trip back to Soneva Fushi.
