About the ConferenceMechanical Engineering will evolve and
collaborate as a global profession over the next decade through its
emerging trends to develop engineering solutions that foster a
cleaner, safer and sustainable world. IC MEETS 2014 aims to serve
as a platform for researchers, academicians and industrialists from
mechanical engineering community to interact and exchange their
ideas and research results so as to accelerate progress in

About Bhopal
Bhopal is the capital of Madhya Pradesh State and well known
worldwide as The City of Lakes. It is well connected to various
parts of country by Road, Rail and Air. Bhopal is well connected
with daily flights from New Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Chennai and all
other major cities. The domestic airport is around 17 km from
MANIT. All the foreign nationals are advised to visit the
Government of India website of the Department of Immigration for
information on Visa requirements.

About Venue
Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (M.A.N.I.T) is one
of the pioneering engineering institutes of the country which
contributed many outstanding engineers for India and abroad. It is
a residential institute with over 200 faculty and offers UG,PG and
PhD programmes in various engineering disciplines. It has all the
facilities such as, guest houses, library, canteen, hostels for
students, health centre, auditoriums and computing facilities.
Department of Mechanical Engineering was established in 1960 since
inception and currently conducts two UG programmes and three PG
programmes besides PhD programmes. Number of sponsored research,
consultancy and development projects is undertaken for GOI,
Industries and Organizations in various areas.
Accommodation Limited accommodation is available in the campus
and may be arranged on payment for first come first serve basis.
Large numbers of good hotels are available in Bhopal and the
details of hotels will be uploaded in the conference website in the
month of September 2013.
Submission of Papers
Research papers on any of the conference themes are invited from
academic, industrial or institutional researchers, experts in the
relevant fields and also from students pursuing research in
relevant areas. Authors are requested to submit Extended Abstract
(about 1000 words) by mentioning Theme code on or before 31st July
2013 through online submission www.icmeets.com and mail to
[email protected].
Formatting details of the Extended Abstract and Full paper are
available in conference website.
The manuscript may have a minimum of six pages and a maximum of
eight pages. For each additional page, Rs.500/- for Indian
Nationals and $50 for foreign delegates will be charged per page up
to a maximum of four additional pages.

Publication of Selected Papers
A soft copy of all the accepted papers will be provided to all
the participants in a pen drive in a book format. From the
presented research papers of the conference, Best Paper Awards and
Best Student Paper Awards will be conferred in the conference.
About 20% selected papers will be communicated to reputed journals
for publication. It is proposed to include Extended Abstracts of
all the papers in Souvenir of the Conference. Souvenier includes
advertisements also. The tariff for advertisements is available in
the website.
In addition to this, sponsorship is invited for various events
of the conference and the details are given in the conference
website. Their contribution will be suitably acknowledged.
