The CBT Brotherhood Presents: Jewish Movie Night
This documentary is shown in commemoration of Israel Independence Day (May 9 this year), highlighting some small steps on the road to reconciliation in the Middle East.
The CBT Brotherhood presents “Beautiful Music,” a documentary about an Israeli Orthodox woman who for more than 18 years tutored a blind and autistic Palestinian girl with a gift for
the piano, the relationship continuing even during two intifadas. This 38-minute film, narrated by Brooke Shields, is from Moriah Films
and affiliated with the Museum of Tolerance.
Devorah has been giving Rasha piano lessons twice a week. Despite her disabilities, Rasha learns to play complicated musical pieces and even composes her own.
