3.2 Objectives: Susu Mamas utilises ICT solutions and delivers timely and accurate information for

planning and decision making.

IC Systems Management and Support.

ICT Systems Management and Support. ICT systems management and support work continues for all offices and health facilities. Development of the software and cloud hosting of the application server is provided by Amazon Web Services (AWS) and managed by our primary ICT Contractor Kuakawa Solutions. Monitoring Susu Mamas PNG Health Facilities and services all contribute NHIS data directly to the Provincial Health Information office. This is done via paper copies or e-NHIS (electronic device). NHIS data collection tools are supported with a Susu Mamas client health record with a unique ID number. This improves identification of clients and continuity of care. Key Information relating to clients is also entered into eCIS (Electronic Client Information System), which allows us to generate reports based on relevant key NHIS performance indicators, including service and intervention coverage. eCIS improves the accuracy of reports on disaggregated data by sex and age within the provinces, districts and health facility catchment populations. New applications for Monitoring and Reporting. FHI360/NDoH have develop a HIV client data base which they are installing on PC’s at our Lae Health Facility. mSupply application will be available for our health facilities in Lae in 2020. Susu Mamas is developing our current eCIS so that we record additional client health care information e.g. malnourished children, routine immunisations. Medication and Medical supplies. Due to insufficient government supplies of medication, we have needed to purchase essential medication for all our health facilities. Diagnostic equipment Pulse oximeters, Blood glucose monitors and additional portable oxygen cylinders are being distributed to all facilities.
