Post-FeministA post-feminist interpretation of this video

would be...

As she flashes herself to get out

of a parking ticket – refers to the

stereotypical view of women

and how they use their sexuality

to get what they want.

That she dominates as she

grabs mans butt - it’s a role

reverse as men are more

sexual towards women.

The feminist would say that this can also

show men dominate and they are

unemotional people as the are represented

as robots.

When Britney hit the men with the microphone

the she reveals what’s under the men’s faces –

infers how the men are under the control of

women’s control; how they are in power as they

Are lusting over her.

As Britney flashes the police officer

all the men look at her including the

the young boys. This convey how

men view women; as they are lusting

sawing at her and her beauty.

Before Britney comes to the

baby she ignores all the other

men who are looking at her

when she is walking; conveying

that she is a strong and

independent women.

These two scenes from the Britney video conveys the idea that men are

the hero and the women are their to be rescued. This is highlighted when

the man in the car tells Britney to get in and she obeys him and gets in.

Also, at the end she is rescued from the press conference but the at the end

concludes that the man in also a robot which implies his dominate status in

the relationships.

This shots conveys how men objectify

women and look at only their facial

appearance rather than her personality.

This is implied by the editing and the

mise-en-scene.
