CIVIL CEREMONY
We are delighted to welcome you to the Britannia hotel for your wedding reception. Our professional andattentive Co-ordinators are available to offer you expertise and guidance to make your special day a perfect one. Our venue can accommodate from 50 to 250 guests. For couples wishing for more than 250 guests as our packages show, we can extend the suite even further known as the USA suite - to accommodate up to 550 people!
Choose from our portfolio of wedding packages, which can be adapted to suit your individual requirements, or ask us to create a bespoke wedding tailor-made just for you.
WELCOME
We can host a civil ceremony here at Britannia Sachas Hotel but only if your reception is also held at the hotel.
Marriage ceremonies can be performed every day, subject to availability, with the registrar and Sachas Hotel, even on Bank holidays. The only exceptions are; Christmas Day, Boxing Day, Good Friday and Easter Sunday which is done by arrangement.
The Registrar will perform the marriage ceremonies during the following times:
Monday – Saturday Daytime: till 4pm Evening : 6pm & 7pm Sunday & Bank Holiday Daytime: till 4.30pm Evenings are not available.
You are personally responsible for contacting the registrar direct and obtaining all the relevantinformation. Britannia Sachas Hotel is under the control of Manchester registry office and they can be contacted on 0161 234 5005

• Evening Hot and Cold Buffet for up to 100 reception guests.
• White Linen Table Cloths
• White Linen Napkins, plus coloured paper napkins to suit your colour scheme.
• A round or square Cake stand and silver cutting knife, to ensure the masterpiece is spotted and admired by all.
• A large square dancefloor so you can dance the night away.
• A private lounge bar and cocktail hour after the meal, whilst we prep the suite for the reception
GOLD PACKAGE £ 1499.00
Our Gold package has everything that the silver package can offer, plus the additional features of :
• A Gorgeous bridal suite on the night of you wedding for you and your partner, complete with late check-out and complimentary Full English Breakfast.
• Washington Suite extended into the Madison Suite for extra space and includes an additional function cash bar!
• A refreshment course after dinner of Tea and Coffee with indulgent biscuits.
• A dance floor of your size plus a stage.
• A complimentary balloon arrangement for your reception.
PLATINUM PACKAGE £ 2500.00
Our Platinum packages is our more inclusive and executive package, which is all of our gold package, plus :
• The Lincoln and Madison reception suite with a red carpet and candelabra entrance from Oldham Street if requested, complimented with floor to ceiling windows.
• This package also provides another function bar in the suite so there is more time dancing and less time queuing for beverages.
• A changing room for guests or the wedding party can be supplied on the same floor of the reception to ensure easy access and means you can swap dresses and outfits without losing out on party time.
• Chair Covers are included as standard in this package and we can supply the sashes for 50p per chair!
• A complimentary bottle of Prosecco is placed on the top table for you and your partner.
• If you wish to have your ceremony with us, this package also includes the hire of the Jefferson as standard
SILVER PACKAGE £ 999.00
PACK AGES
All our menus can be adapted and tailored to suit you, these options below are for references and suggestions. All dietary requirements need to be notified to us at least 4 weeks prior to your wedding.Additional guests attending the gala dinner has a fee of £20.00 per person, We also have an under 11’s children's catering options
Starters:
Homemade Soup with a white petit roll and butter
Brussels pate with a toasted bloomer, salad garnish and red onion chutney
Wil Mushroom Risotto with Dressed Rocket and Parmesan Cheese (v)
Main Courses
Braised Brisket of Beef with A Yorkshire Pudding and Gravy
Chicken Fillet with a Mushroom and Brandy Sauce or Peppercorn Sauce.
Grilled Fillet of Salmon on Crushed New Potatoes & Garden Peas with a white wine and parsley sauce. (v)
All our main courses are accompanied by a crescent of potatoes and the vegetable of your choice.
Desserts:
Light Vanilla cheesecake with a fruit compote & Fresh Mint Profiteroles Filled with Whipped Cream topped with a Belgian chocolate sauce
Eton Mess, Meringue pieces with fresh whipped cream, strawberry's, raspberries and a fruit coulis.
Glazed Lemon Tart with a refreshing sorbet.
