Standard 12 Meta Reflection: Professional CitizenshipWillingly engages in dialogue that transcends the individual classroom, taking informed, coherent positions on important matters of educational policy and practice.
I met Standard 12: Professional Citizenship by participating in staff meetings
and voicing my opinion school issues. In the picture above, I am engaging with Thai
teachers about how to best represent each of our teaching preferences while
keeping in mind culture and educational policy and practice in Thailand.
I also met Standard 12 by creating a Performance Assessment on the history
of education throughout America. I traced the history of moral education efforts in
America from the colonial times to the present, touching upon what I believed to be
the major issues and movements. I also predicted what the next generation of
education would look like based on the trends of academic movement. For more
