The What’s My Line Game

Each Group does the following:

1. Pick any one career from your list or the top 20.

2. Create four “Clues” that can help your classmates guess what your job is. Each clue should give more detail then the one before it and you can only have 2 clues from the “What they Do” Category. For example:

a. Where distinctive makeup. (What they do)b. Perform set routines that provide humor and exaggerated physical action.

(What they do)c. You can enter the business merely by practicing and getting experience

through performances. "Some people can just learn a few basics, such as make-up, and then naturally pick up the rest,”

d. Often play other roles in a circus (At a glance) Answer – CLOWN

3. Write your answers down and have the teacher review them.

4. Once all groups have their clues, each group will read the clues one at a time. All other groups will try to guess the career after each clue is read. NOBODY IS PERMITTED TO SHOUT OUT A GUESS. YOU MUST RAISE YOUR HAND IF YOU WOULD LIKE GUESS. If you guess correctly, your group gets five pts, three pts or 1 pt. Depending on how many answers were read. If you shout out an answer, your group loses three pts.

5. The team with the most points at the end of the period wins.
