High density, High purity plaster

‘BRICK IN THE WALL®’ developed it’s own CALCYT® plaster with amazing characteristics. CALCYT® is a high density,

heat and !re resistant, next generation plaster, with optimal hardness and light re"exion properties. Our continuous

research results in the production of CALCYT® !ttings without air holes, assuring no cracks after installation. Our range

of light !xtures o#ers a truly trimless solution. The absence of a metal frame is not only aesthetically pleasing. Since

CALCYT® plaster !ttings share the same thermal expansion characteristics as regular plaster or plasterboard, it also

ensures stable, high quality installations that remain free of plaster cracks. You should come and look at some of the

installations that we did 17 years ago! Due to it’s thermal resistance, CALCYT® !ttings are suitable for many di#erent

light sources. The snow white CALCYT® !ttings can easily be painted in the colour of your wall or ceiling! But at the

same token, you could try a !nish with wall paper, gold leaf, or tadelakt. This facilitates the seamless integration of our

borderless CALCYT® !ttings into each and every interior. And if you decide to redecorate the place in a number of

years, our light !xtures will just adapt to your new desires.

TOUCH-IT The Touch-It range is an example of the new-edge de-

sign from Brick In The Wall. Touch-It introduces gentle and smooth curves,

which make the light !xture radiate from the ceiling, adding new dynamics

to your architecture. With the fully paintable Touch-It, it becomes hard to

see where the ceiling ends and the light !xture begins, a typical feature of

the ‘invisible integration of light’ approach of Brick In The Wall. The deep-set

lamp source of the Touch-It range reduces glare, and is ideal for energy ef-

!cient LED retro!t lamps. A unique mounting system allows you to rotate

the lamp in all directions with a single, almost invisible ring. CALCYT® plaster

!ttings share the same thermal expansion characteristics as regular plaster

or plasterboard. This ensures installations that remain free of plaster cracks

for the long haul.

FLUSH The Flush is an example of the soft edge design from

Brick In The Wall. The luminaire disappears smoothly and seamless into the

architecture and creates a non-disturbing light beam that improves visual

comfort. At the same time, the Flush adds a secondary halo light ring to

the !xture, creating a unique recessed downlight. The fully paintable Flush

range is available in 3 dimensions and can be equipped with a great variety

of lamps, including energy e"cient LED retro!t lamps. The light source can

be adjusted in the horizontal (350°) as well as in the vertical direction (30°).

ILLUSION

PIXO The timeless Pixo range stands for ultimate minimalistic

design. The fully paintable range of plaster !ttings o"ers enhanced visual

comfort due to a deep-set lamp source, and is ideal for energy e#cient LED

retro!t lamps. The truly trimless Pixo range blends perfectly with any interior.

Pixo 50 range is available in a !xed (non-adjustable) version, in a fully adjust-

able version, in an IP44 version, and in a wall washer version. On top of this

the Pixo 50 range exists in a double version (Pixo 2 x 50) for the ease of instal-

lation of twin lamps. All these versions of the Pixo 50 share the same visible

ceiling opening of 80mm, allowing you to easily combine the entire Pixo

50 range. This allows you to create a powerful, yet $exible universal design

language. For environments where installation depth is critical, the ‘low’ ver-

sion, or Pixo 50 L, o"ers a perfect solution. It allows you to combine the time-

LEVEL The Level combines the minimalistic and soft edge de-

sign approaches from Brick In The Wall. The seamless light !xture seems to

"oat across the ceiling, only to disappears gently into the architecture. The

minimalistic design continues into the lamp unit, which is fully adjustable

MINI The Mini range is the baby brother of the ‘original’ Nor-

mall range of wall !xtures that was created over 17 years ago. Pure and

simple lines are combined with state of the art, energy e"cient LED units

to create a timeless and minimalist design. The mini repeats the design lan-

guage of the Normall range, but now as an orientation light. Use Mini as an

uplight or downlight : the curved back is optimized to create a great indirect

orientation lighting experience. Use them in a linear pattern, or use them by

the pair, to create a di#erent approach. Mini will blend perfectly with your in-

terior. As all CALCYT® plaster !ttings, the Mini is fully paintable. And because

Autobahn is a U-shaped pro!le that uses energy e"cient seamless T5 lamps,

in order to create pro!les free of dark zones. The pro!les can be installed in

the ceiling, in the wall, or in both. Autobahn is available in !xed length single

units, or as a modular system that allows you to create your own implemen-

tations. The unique installation system allows you to install the Autobahn

pro!le in the same, easy way as you would install regular plasterboard. On

top of this, the pro!les are pre-wired using our ‘click-to wire’ installation ap-

proach. This translates into ease of use, and reduced installation time. The

Brick In The Wall is also the perfect partner for all your custom designs. Did you want to customize some of our ex-

isting products? We can do it! You like the unique appearance of the Frame wall luminaire, but would like use your

own design for the front plate? It can be done. Or would you like to apply the MOOR range for outdoor lighting? Not

a problem. You want to use the Flush 228 as a wall luminaire with indirect LED lighting? Sure. You fell in love with the

award winning ATMOS range, but would want to apply it in a curved ceiling? Well, it’s a challenge, but we’ve done it !

Or do you prefer to start from scratch, and create your own brave new design? We are willing to work with you!

Starting from your design aspiration, we will !rst of all make all make a technical feasibility assessment. Based upon

the analysis and upon the projected volumes we will provide you with a budgetary quote. Once the project has

your go ahead, we will agree and sign o" on the !nal speci!cations, and move into the prototyping phase. Upon

your review and approval of the prototype we will !nally move into full production.

Does size matter? The answer is: yes and no. We’ve made custom designs with all sizes of products, from small to

large, to very large. Of course, the technical complexities are di"erent and in general more challenging for large

architectural creations. That is why Brick In The Wall in its approach will always look at at ease of installation, next to

the pure product design. After all, the greatest design is useless unless it can be properly installed and !nished. Still
