5 DANGERS OF SOCIAL MEDIA TO DISCUSS WITH YOUR KIDS With so many computer applications out there

and data available at the touch of a screen, you

may not realise all the potential dangers of social media facing your children.

“Stranger Danger” – Take it Seriously

Children may find it hard to judge strangers they

meet in person, and it’s even harder to tell friends from foes online. It is very important

that parents with younger children are aware of what apps their kids are using and what those

apps do.

(Over) sharing information – Don’t Reveal Too Much Another point to address with your kids is to

make them aware of how much they’re revealing about themselves online.

Hidden Info in Photos – Beware of Posting Pics Children should know the potential risk of what they are posting online.

The Staying Power of Social Media – Consider the Future Parents need to give children some understanding of exactly how powerful Social

Media is. Whatever you put out there is there forever.

Cyberbullying – Ask, “Will others get hurt?” Write a list about social media usage, discuss

them with your children and post them near the computer. The checklist should include these

questions: “Is this going to hurt someone’s feelings? How would I feel if this message came

to me?”

And finally

14th August 2017 RE: DONATION OF WHEELCHAIR To Brakenhurst Primary School, We would like to convey our sincere gratitude to you for the donation of the manual wheelchair. Thank you for contacting us and for arranging for the delivery of the chair, we really appreciate it. Many of our children have mobility difficulties but there are not always enough wheelchairs to serve all of the children. Moreover, we also provide some children with wheelchairs to use at home. As you can see, your donation is both needed and welcomed. May your school be abundantly blessed for your generosity and empathy. Kind regards, Mr Q.A.
