1. Promissory note which states the exact terms of ouragreement and insures you receive a fixed return.

2. Security Deed / Deed of Trust (mortgage) which will putthe property as the collateral for your loan. That means Icannot sell the property or transfer title without paying youoff.

3. Lenders Title insurance will protect you against anycurrent or future title problems.

4. Fire / hazard insurance will protect you in case of acatastrophe.

An attorney or title company will take care of all of the documentsand insure the mortgage is recorded against the property. Youwill receive the original signed note and copies of the mortgage,title insurance policy, and hazard insurance. The security deed isrecorded and acts as a mortgage / lien against the property.
