Definition
A booster unit is a device that can increase water system pressureand ensure consistent pressure during use.
Water is generally supplied by a municipality.
There are cases where the user is too far away from the main supply
Or the user needs more pressure because of the particularity of his installation.
Supplier Municipality Too high! Too far!

Selection
A pressure booster units is defined by the flowrates and the pressure.Hs = Static Head...........................................m
H = Head loses (devices, pipes,etc...)........mPu = Pressure user.......................................bar
The pressure after the Booster unit
= Hinlet + Hs + H + (Pu x10)
The flow rates is defined according rules ofcalculation given from the norms.for example:
DIN1988/5 Germany NFP 41101 and DTU 6011 France
