CONCEPT NOTE :Sustainable development means to
preserve the natural resources in development process by protecting the interests of present generation for future. At present the quest for development across the globe has resulted into excessive exploitation of natural resources which are on the brink of depletion. Present approach of development is emanating the environmental threats by way of global warming, erratic rainfall, flood, drought across the globe. Developing countries from Asia and Africa continents have become more vulnerable to various challenges such as poverty and exclusion, unemployment and migration. The developed countries are also feeling the heat of environmental degradation
in the form of cyclonic disaster, heat wave and inferno. The nature of challenges vary as per continent and more disadvantageous to developing and backward countries as compared to the developed.
