BOB DYLAN, 15 LYRICS

This Artists book is possibly the first handprinted one worldwide with authorized lyrics by Bob Dylan. German artist Ulrich Brauchle with his softground etchings, and Eckhard Froeschlin from EDITION SCHWARZE SEITE with his letterpress setting managed to make a beautiful teamwork. Brauchles etchings respond to Dylans lyrics in a series of portraits inspired by well known photo-graphs, and in several free images to accompany the poetry of the famous songwriter.

In total 15 Vernis Mou - (Softground) etchings in black, three of them double-sized, with handset letterpress from Walbaum 14 p, on Velin d`Arches mould made paper 250 g, 38 x 28,5 cm. One etching unbound, signed and numbered as an offer to have it framed. 48 pages, handbound by Roger Green, etching-printed mould paper over board with embossed leather spine, solid box covered with etching-printed mould paper. 35 copies, February 2015.
