Peter, Paul & Mary Ritchie Havens Odetta

Albert Grossman gave Dylan $1,000 to buy back his publishing rights from Duchess Music, andsign instead to Witmark Music. Unknown to Dylan, however, Grossman had also negotiated a deal

with Witmark that gave him 50% of the income generated by any songwriter he brought to thecompany. This "secret deal" resulted in a bitter legal battle in the 1980s.

Grossman also tried to renegotiate Dylans deal with John Hammond at Columbia, as he had beenunder 21 when he signed, but Hammond persuaded Dylan to abide by t he original deal.

Grossman also persuaded John Hammond to step down from producing Dylan, and replaced himwith a young African American producer, Tom Wilson.

    Q. Whats the connection between your iPhone andthe fifty ships of the German Imperial Navy scuttledin Scapa Flow (Scotland) after WW1?

    A. The satellite. Background radiation affects these sensitiveorbiting communications devices. Only steel forged before Earthsfirst nuclear explosion in 1945 is completely free of radio active

isotopes, so these old ships are salvaged for that purpose.

Mutually assured destruction is the essenceof the deterrence concept. We must possess an

actual assured-destruction capability that mustalso be credible. Any potential aggressor must

Then Abram bound the youth with belts and traps, and builded parapets and trenches there,And stretchd forth the knife to slay hi s son. When lo! an angel called him out of heaven,Saying, Lay not thy hand upon the lad,

Neither do anything to him. Behold,A ram, caught in a thicket by its horns;Offer the Ram of Pride instead of him.But the old man would not so, but slew his son,And half the seed of Europe, one by one.
