GLOCAL MISSIONS
Kingdom Builders: On Saturday, August 18th, six members of our
Kingdom Builders team installed a kitchen and utility room floor for a lady just
south of the city. She and her grandson had been unable to pay for installation
of the much needed floor, and our men were happy to help. In about 5 hours,
her new floor was installed. Projects like this are frequently handled by our
Kingdom Builders, a group of skilled and unskilled folks who enjoy using their
talents to help others. If you have a free Saturday and are willing to help others,
please let Pat know you would like to be contacted. If you are unable to
physically help, you may prefer to help with donations for materials. If so,
please designate your donations to “Kingdom Builders.” Either way, you can
be a blessing to those less fortunate.
Food for HOPE: Grocery car ts are located in the main hallway for your
donations. Items will be collected through the month of September.

WHY
Read Paul’s words in Philippians 1:3-12, the focal passage for the study:
“In all my prayers for you, I always pray with joy because of your
partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of
this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion
until the day of Christ Jesus….And this is my prayer: that your love may
abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you
may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for
the day of Christ.” Philippians 1:4-6, 9-10 (NIV)

Thank you all who attended our Back to School Celebration. JB and I had an

Covenant Family. We hope to see you at our next big event, Christian Music
Day at Carowinds.
