Please complete the ‘Unit 23’ Numeracy Problem Solving Sheet (provided).

Multiplication Practice – Can you create/come up with your own resource/game to help you practice your

multiplication tables?

Examples

1. Complete ‘Position & Movement’ pages 61 & 62.2. Complete ‘Position & Movement’ pages 63.3. Create a poster that could be used to help others

who are learning about Position & Movement. Remember when creating a poster it should be eye-catching, include pictures and words (information), the information must be correct and overall presentation should be neat.

Fast Finisher – Can you create a journey round your house/out a walk or cycle/in your garden and write down the route you took.

Challenge – Can you record the route using a laptop/tablet/mobile phone and post the instructions and the video on your class Microsoft Teams? the bags.

Record any changes using the table provided below. Personal Project: Old Troon (Expressive Art) Health and Wellbeing

We are learning to create and present work using the visual elements of line, shape, form, colour, tone, pattern and texture.

We are learning to use a range of resources to create an image, discovering their suitability for specific tasks.

We are learning to discover and choose different ways to create a piece of art work.

We are learning strategies and techniques to calm and relax our mind.

Over the next 2 – 3 week we are linking our IDL, Literacy and ICT tasks together. Hopefully by researching Troon and your local community over the last few weeks you will have gained some new knowledge and understanding about the town you are growing up in and can use this new information in your leaflet.

We would like you to imagine you were growing up during historical times when Scotland was made up with clans and tribes (we covered some of this during Scottish Fortnight).

Week 2 Using your line drawing, give your Coat of Arms some colour. You may wish to use pencils, pens, crayons, or paint (whatever you have available and have permission from an adult to use). Once you have decorated your coat of arms we would like you to create a slogan/motto/inspiring or motivational quote that you feel would match your Coat of Arms. (A motto uses a few words to express – and remind you of – the person you want to be, for example “Carpe Diem – seize the day”/ “don’t count the days, make the days count”)

This term we are learning about our mental wellbeing and the strategies we can use to relax

our minds.

Choose a ‘brain break’ breathing exercise each day to complete. Find a calm and quiet place to complete these

activities.

**Class Catch-up: On Tuesday log-on to Microsoft Teams and have a chat with your friends in your class. It would be great to hear from you all. (Tuesday

12pm-1pm)**
