› You get to the Media Library after the

upload

› There you can add a caption (that will

be displayed in your post as well) if you

want to

› Insert it into your post

› Don’t worry, if you feel the need to

› If you want to change the caption, the position or the size, click on the image and choose the pencil to reach the image details

› Choose which position you like. If you choose to align the image left or right, the text will run around the picture. If you choose “center” it will be placed in the middle. In that case it will probably be best to change the size to “Full Size”. You can try different options and check them via previewing your post

› The featured image will be displayed in the overview of articles

on the startpage, but not in your post itself

› As it forms the first impression of your post and has the purpose

to make the reader click on your article, choose a nice picture. It

can be the same as one that appears in your post

› Scroll down to the bottom of the page to find the box „Featured

image“ at the right-hand side

› The best format for your image would be landscape and be

aware that it will be cut off a little bit on the left and the right

borders

How to Save a Blog Post?

10 December 2019

17© Continental AG

At all times after the first saving

you can see the preview of

your blogpost. Check whether

your pictures are arranged in a

nice way

As long as you are working on

your blogpost, save it as

“Draft”. As soon as you are

finished change the status to

“CEB review”. Then the review

team receives an automated

message and will review and

schedule the article. You don’t

need the other status

Optional: Add Another Language to Your Blog Post (1/2)

10 December 2019

18© Continental AG

› After you have saved your post at least once as a draft, you have the option to offer your blog post in another language besides English

› If you click on + a new blank blog post will open and you can write down the translation

› If you click on duplicate a copy of your blog post will be created with the pictures so that you just have to translate the text and the captions
