Addilaide Tshivhase Disego:The biggest challenge this days in relationship s is less trust to partners
because I believe one always think they are being cheated on! One factor
that contribute more is the fact that most girls are so proud to be side
chicks due to the benefits they receive from this man cheating on their
girlfriend most of the relationship s are build thru materialism where if one
can't afford to provide they get cheated on. This is mostly done to hurt one
another thru our actions. There is no love, no trust as long as people are
together that's all what matters, dating in front of the people while it's not
inside or within the heart. You cannot hurt what you love because that is part
of your heart. We need to start figure what should be done by two people
who are dating n just stop promising each other heavens.
Ndivhuwo Tebza:no relationship that is perfect but it's up to 2 people to
make it work .most of problems that we faced in our relationships is bcoz of
lack of communication and trust issues these two can make and break

THE TERTIARY LIFESTYLE THAT WE NEED AND DON'T NEED FOR PROSPERITY SAKE
By Mukwevho Nomsa
hile growing up from kindergarten to high schools and the varsity life, we all
as humans thrive and yearn to experience certain stages and ways of life we Wonly hear about from media and people themselves, we envy and long for
those moments to come!
What I have realised so far is that every average youth or teen wants that one time
freedom wherein they ought to do whatever they want to do without having to report
back to a parent or guardian, they simply want to be on their own and take control of
their lives, which is very necessary but yet very dangerous! So most youngsters in varsity
levels are living under so many peer pressure measures and try to be under lot of labels as
being cool, being the main guy or the main chick! Being the well-known student for all the
notorious behaviours!
Healthy living tips for students
1.Follow a healthy diet:
It's important to maintain a balanced die.
2.Stay fit:
When you're in classes throughout the
day, studying in the evenings and working
on the weekend, mustering up the
motivation to exercise isn't always easy.
The best way to get around this is to
establish a routine or better still get your
friends involved.
3.Avoid late-night studying:
It's okay to stay up finishing an assignment
once in a while, but it's not a good idea to
make 'all-nighters' a habit.
4.Balance your commitments:
Ask graduates about what they struggled
with most during their studies and many
will tell you that they found it difficult to
balance their commitments.
Find ways to manage stress levels:
Assessment stress can have a negative
impact on your health, particularly your
immune system. The key is to manage
your stress levels before they hit their
peak and to find study methods that
work for you (remember, these might be
different to what works for your friends
or family).

YOUNG WOMEN ON THE MOVE MARILYN NDLOVU
Blink Digital Magazine Sept/Oct Issue No.1 14
TELL US ABOUT YOURSELF?
My full name is Marilyn Ndlovu, I am 21,
turned 22 on the 11th October. I am a
2nd year Bcom Financial Accounting
student at North West University, Vaal
Triangle Campus. I am a born again
Christian who loves church and loves
modeling, more especially pageants. I have
started modeling in 2013 but as a part
time thing. I enjoy travelling, listening to
music, reading, public speaking and
modelling of course.
WHERE ARE YOU FROM?
I was born and raised in Bushbuckridge,
Mpumalanga. And I have a 2nd home at
KwaThema, springs.
WHY MODELING?
Modeling because I first saw my sister
doing it, and people have always
encouraged me to do it. I started it as a
"try-out", then as time went by, got more
into it. I don't do it full time because of
school and my bursary provider expects
me to put full a force on studies. Modeling
is fun, it has its ups and down, you meet
new people, you win and you lose.
WHO INSPIRED YOU INTO
MODELING?
YOU WERE CHOSEN AS MISS
KWATSADUZA AT KASI 2 KASI
LIFESTYLE,TELL US ABOUT THERE
EXPERIENCE?
My sister inspired me into it. When I saw
her go into it, I thought to myself why not.
WHAT MADE YOU FALL IN LOVE
WITH MODELING?
The victories that came with every step I
took since I began.
The experience is beautiful and amazing. It
is fun, more especially when I have to judge
a pageant or when I am invited as a VIP at
an event. Receiving messages of support
from people I know and the one`s I don't
know. This has really been a platform for
me to inspire other young people. So far I
have judged pageants, was part of an
organising team for Young Entrepreneur
and Miss Teen Midrand, competed in Miss
Rainbow Nations and attended Miss Jozi
as a VIP, amongst other things.
AKA OR CASPER NYOVEST?
WHAT ARE YOUR GOALS AS A
MODEL?
My biggest goal at the moment is to own
my own pageant company. I am planning
to establish it next year. I want to see a lot
of girls entering pageants, especially those
who (like me) were told they will never
make it big. Being approached to organise
and be in charge of some pageants has
fuelled the desire for me to own titles/
projects of my own.
WHAT`S THE MOST SEXIEST
THING ABOUT YOU?
My eyes and legs, hahaha, that`s what I
was told. I am in love with both of my
assets. They are the reason I win pageants.
There is power on my legs and grace in
my eyes, hahaha!!
Would say none if I had a choice, but let
me say AKA, for me he has substance and
depth. I have nothing against Casper, but I
feel like he is more into pleasing the
crowd more than being real.
I acknowledge that they are both big and
they have came a long way, I respect
Casper's hustle, but at this point AKA
takes my vote.
WHAT CAN YOU SAY TO THE
LADIES OUT THERE, WHO ARE
INSECURE WITH THEIR LOOKS?
You are you and there can never be
another. Challenge yourself one time and
break out of the shell of insecurity, you
will be amazed of the person in you,
whom you were depriving of the
opportunity to bring the best in the
world. There is no need for covering up
who you are to try and please other
people. Change what you can and accept
what you cannot change, that's how one
starts. Take time and know yourself that
serves as a foundation for all things,
especially when you finally get exposed to
people. Take pride in who you are and
where you come from.
CHANGE WHAT YOU CAN AND ACCEPT WHAT YOU CANNOT CHANGE

Who's your most influential fashion designer?
My former boss Asanda Madyibi is my most
influential fashion designer. She taught me a
lot and in a short period of time. Interning
with her was hard but worth it at the end of
the day.
From the dresses you designed before, can see that most of your dresses are in a flare design style, is it the style you want people to define you with?
Yes. My style revolves around flare patterns.
This is the pattern that almost everyone feel
comfortable wearing. SDD is defined by this
type of pattern.
Can you describe your style?
Elegant, innovative, sophisticated and simple.
What's the most challenging part?
The most challenging part is when a client
tries to explain a particular design that
he/she wants that doesn't make sense..
And also working with family and close
relatives sometimes is a challenge because
some don't even want to pay.
Are you single?
No.

VITO RUMOURSWHO IS BEEFING WHO?
ACCORDING TO SOCIAL NETWORK SOURCES.
MIZO PHYLL VS MOSBEE
WE ALL KNOW MIZO PHYLL
RELEASED A NEW SONG WITH
CURTIES CALLED "ARI ZWI AMBARI"
From what we heard, “the song left some
of local brand owners furious, they felt like
Mizo was taking shots at them.
According to sources, Mizo didn't fire
shots at any brand he just mentioned the
brand that he loves to wear, so people
did`nt understand why Mosbee the
Khachamedza owner is furious like he's
the only person who runs a local brand.”
Here is some so-called Khachamedza
"CEO" trying by all means to get a
recognition from Mizo Phyll by insulting
him through his Facebook posts.
Rumour says "he is in the 30s but he is
acting half of his age"lmao.
We just find it hard to understand why he
is insulting Mizo Phyll.Maybe he just feels
degraded that the King of Venrap doesn't
wear his brand. His insults left most of
Mizo's fans furious and they told him
where to get off. We are just glad that
Mizo doesn't entertain such bad publicity.
Big ups to Mizo Phyll.
BOMO VS PRO-HEEDWe just found out that a month ago,
Pro-Heed insulted Bomo and his crew
on the radio. His insults left Bomo
disrespected and he has never looked
down on anybody.Bomo released a diss

was said that the song was to
reprimand Pro for his mischiefs. Will

TSHIMA MUSIC AWARDS NOMINEES VS ADOLF.
Now there is also Adolf self-proclaimed
"Mr Muledane"
He fired shots to some of Venda artists
and the Tshivenda Music Awards
(TSHIMAs).
According to social network sources
"We don't know why he did that but
that sounded so immature and
primitive”.
Adolf sounded like he had Hidden
Agendas with all those people he dissed
in his track "Munna Ndi Nnyi" translated
"Who's the man".
Is he angry that he wasn't nominated in
the TSHIMAs or Is he angry that none of
the artists he dissed refused to
collaborate with him?
Well we just don't know the right
answer but seeking answers why he did
that".

TSHIVENDA has always been there, it’s just that there were more oppression
towards people that were doing rap due to the stereotype about
how bad we are and that we’re all about swearing & disrespecting
other people.
Around 1998 during the time of Shabba Ranks track ‘Mr lover man’ there where rappers
like Hangwi Skulube, Shabba Muyahavho,Cool mash who was doing wonders on radio and
freestyles and Skiper Musie who was doing Tshivenda Hip-hop When I was just a kid
around age 7 or 8.
There was a guy called “Shaaba Muyahavho” who had dancing groups that would rap and
dance at the same time. I was just a kid and I’d follow them around, watching them rap in
English and Venda while they competed all around Venda. Back then rapping was not
categorised as Motswako or Venrap, it was just rap. I would watch them rap and later go
home to try it out, but I was not as good as they were but that didn’t hold me back.
Tshivenda rap have been there . The main guy who has done most work to see this rap
take place was cool mash who worked with many artist before disappearing from rapping
but we still thank him for his passion and representing and making us believe that we have
what it takes. Thinking deep if you remember correctly you will remember that also Jimmy
the scratcher used to have some flows on his jingles back in the day before we even took
this rap thing serious.
Venrap actually tells more than just a movement but difine the originality of who your and
being proud of your origin. Venda sound is different to any other south African sound so is
our music and voices speaks from deep in our hearts. Our dances our melodies, our
tradition, our ways of life, our language is all unique.Tshivenda rap (venrap) is who your
and how you tell your own story with pride.
To cut story shot hope will still expain more one day Mr unlimited Bomo Unlimited made
history by being the first rapper to actually redefine the way people used to look at the
genre. He dropped the track “Ndi Bomo Ido Mudadza”, which was being played
everywhere from Venda to Cape Town. Wherever there was anyone from Venda, that song
would be played and it was that song that introduced rap to the youth of Venda and
showed them that it was possible to rap in Venda.
