Who is Missouri S&T?OFocused on STEM fields, with over
20 different degree programs in science or engineering.
OWe are traditionally a residential institution located nearly 100 miles from the nearest large airport.
OWhile we offer the Blackboard LMS, its use is not mandated. Faculty are free to decide whether to use the LMS or not.
Missouri S&T FacultyO25% speak English as a second language
OFaculty are experts in their field; research is often 1st teaching is often 2nd.
OWe have a small faculty community O< 400 full-time facultyO75% of faculty are tenured or
tenure-track
Missouri S&T StudentsO Incoming freshmen > 1100
