MODELS
CAP101The “translation” of a two-dimensional masterwork into three dimensions based on how a person would feel in that work. In this design the masterwork was Piet Mondrian’s Broadway Boogie Woogie.
The final Boogie Woogie Dance Club is based on line, mass, and light. This model had to fit within a 12in cube with a 3x12x12in facade.
16
CAP102Two spaces--one interior painting display for 5-10 people and one exterior landscape design for 3-5 and 15-30 people. First time experience with real site restrictions.
The landscape design promotes the flow of people and provides stops to become educated about the painter and his work. Extra attractions are a natural prairie, fountain with a statue of the painter in it, and stain-glass dividing walls.

WOMENS
WEEK
18
WMNST310:Examines the history and transformation of a minority group’s identity. This class presentation was one event out of fourteen planned campus wide Women’s Week events.
My contribution to the presentation included an examination of history, counter opinions, similarities, and more.
The experience allowed me to learn how to present information that I was unfamiliar with in front of a group of community members.
