Bioscrypt, a world renowned manufacturer of Biometric Access Control devices, has been the market leader for biomet

access control since 2006, holding a market share of over 13%. Now under the wing of the Safran Group, Bioscrypt is no

known as MorphoTrust USA. Even under this new banner Bioscrypt is still at the core, producing the reliable biometric

systems that customers around the globe have come to trust and depend on.

Bioscrypts product offering is centered on a handful of biometric devices each of which can be ordered with a wide arra

options. The myriad configurations available on these readers can lead to confusion in determining which model to ordwhen specific features are required, especially when it comes to readers that integrate credentialing in combination wit

biometrics. These multi-factor authentication scenarios tend to create a headache for site supervisors, building manage

installers alike. In order to simplify the process, this How-To-Order guide is designed to assist in selecting the correct d

and part number for the needs of your application.

The current Bioscrypt line of products is divided into four device lines:

4G V-Station Reader

The standard model of the 4G Series, offering a color LCD

Weather Resistant Reader

The Weather Resistant 4G V-Station offers the same performance as the standar

Station, but with a housing that features a built-in hood and specialized compon

to resist adverse weather conditions, with a temperature range between -5F and

140F. The 4G V-Station is IP65 rated.

The 4G V-Flex Lite is the smaller form factor version of the standard 4G V-Flex. It

perfect choice for biometric access control when looking for a reader that can pe

like the rest of the 4G V-Series, but space is an issue. The smallest reader in the e

line, the 4G V-Flex Lite is ideal for mullion or single gang mounting and can opera

tandem with the 4G SecureControl I/O panel for additional security.

The 4G V-Flex Reader is the ideal secondary device in a Bioscrypt installation or a

ideal primary device in installations where a keypad and LCD arent required. The

V-Flex can handle Standalone Door Access Control (SDAC) functions just like its la

counterpart, but with half the size. It can also be remotely managed and has field

replaceable sensors.

Instead of reading the users fingerprint, it scans the entire finger using near-infr

light to map the veins and verify this biometric data against a template. Thistechnology makes it nearly impossible to duplicate or forge biometric data to gai

unauthorized access, providing the highest level of security in Bioscrypts product

offerings to date. The 4G FingerVein options provide up to triple-factor authentic

when including credentials, a pin and your biometric data.

4G V-Flex
