The Biodiversity is Us is a campaign created by WAZA to educate the public about each person’s individual role in either helping or hurting biodiversity and aligns with the United Nations Decade on Biodiversity which is from 2011-2020. WAZA is pursuing Zoos and Aquariums throughout the world to run a Biodiversity is US campaign in their institutions to promote this message of biodiversity. WAZA has created a turn-key program which allows an institution to add their logo/brand on the resources and materials created by WAZA. If you go to WAZA’s website you can click on the links to learn more about the program. For consumers the entire campaign drives people to download a very simple, user-friendly app. The app is in four languages and has a plethora of content including educational information, tips on how to take action, games and other info.
