Kelly M. Knight, Esq. Vice-President, Compliance Services The Benecon Group, Inc. Kelly Knight originally joined Benecon as a Compliance Attorney, focusing primarily in the area of Health Care Reform. Prior to joining Benecon, Kelly was engaged in the private practice of law for approximately 10 years. In 2010, she was named a Pennsylvania Super Lawyers Rising Star, which is awarded annually to no more than 5% of attorneys under the age of 40 and in practice less than 10 years. Kelly works closely the Benecon Compliance Department to both educate groups in issues relating to employee benefits and to help keep them compliant with the ever-changing compliance requirements of various benefits laws. The Benecon Compliance Department also engages in contract review and drafting as well as policy development. In addition, Kelly, along with the entire Compliance Department, assists groups in HIPAA compliance, ERISA, COBRA and other employee benefits, state and federal regulatory issues, including compliance with state insurance, IRS and DOL regulations. A great deal of Kelly’s work continues to be devoted to researching the various aspects of Health Care Reform and assisting employers in understanding and becoming compliant with its requirements. Kelly is a graduate of Lycoming College, Williamsport, PA and a graduate of the Dickinson School of Law of the Pennsylvania State University, Carlisle, PA.
