Binology SmartCity Bin is a technologically advanced waste bin that allows a radical change in the way of the municipal solid waste treatment.

Integrated press Simple and reliable device that can reduce waste volume by up to 8 times. A built-in advanced algorithm automatically activates the pressing system according to the filling

Solar panel Allows the autonomous work without power supply connection. As an option, a hybrid power supply with 220/110 VAC feed is also available.

Compressed waste Is hermetically and safely stored inside the container. The closed bin design prevents the animals from having access to the waste and eliminates unpleasant odors. Fill-level sensors in each Smart Bin allow you to control current waste level separately.

Vandalism resistance Galvanized steel construction of the housing combined with a fixed surface mount, complimented with integrated smoke detector and fire prevention algorithm.

Online monitoring Real-time monitoring of indicators for all installed bins: location, fill-level and type of the collected waste, battery charge and surrounding environmental parameters.

2 SOLUTION

SmartCity Management SaaS application for remote real time tracking of the parameters for all the installed smart bins: their location, type of the collected waste, the fill-level, battery charge, as well as a range of environmental parameters. It also keeps track of analytics for waste disposal, reduces staff and specialized transport use costs, also CO2 emissions due to  the higher waste management efficiency.

Using the web-interface the operator monitors in real time the indicators of all installed bins, sets tasks for disposal trucks drivers, automatically builds the

optimal route taking into account the route situation. In addition, he can check possible errors in the operation of the bins, as well as generate reports on the collected analytical data, constantly improving efficiency and reducing waste disposal costs.

The driver of each disposal truck receives a task on his tablet or phone with a list of filled bins and their location to empty. The driver marks each serviced bin in the SmartCity Driver App, allowing the operator to track, update and control the drivers work

performance.

Different SmartCity Bin configurations can be used for the aims of separation. Almost any possible configuration can be installed depending on the facilities special requirements and types of separating waste.

FAQ.How much solar energy does SmartCity Bin need to operate? The integrated press doesn't require direct sunlight to operate. It runs on a battery charging from the solar panel both sunny and cloudy days. The battery has sufficient energy reserves to last for several weeks, so the SmartCity Bin can operate successfully even in climate conditions with low insolation level.

How safe is SmartCity Bin? Using SmartCity Bin guarantees total security. The device is equipped with a lock. The press does not function when the container door is open. A special drawer prevents the hands from entering the press area. The device operates on safe low voltage.

Is SmartCity Bin protected against vandalism?  The SmartCity Bin is made of strong galvanized steel and is securely fixed to the surface.

What kind of maintenance is required and how often? As a standard SmartCity Bin service, the battery should be replaced every 5-6 years.
