Is your Business BIM Ready? Certification for BusinessBIM Level 2 / ISO 19650 Pre-assessment Service

Companies planning to apply for BRE Global BIM Level 2 Business Systems Certification may wish to consider having a Pre-assessment visit which will be carried out prior to their document submission and initial audit. Whilst the assessment visit is not a formal requirement of the company certification process, it can potentially shorten the time for the process by either indicating the applicant’s readiness or identifying any gaps or misunderstanding. A BIM pre-assessment does not guarantee there will be no non-conformities identified at either the desktop or site audit. Neither does it guarantee that there will be a positive recommendation for certification. However applicants that opt for a pre-assessment and subsequently act upon the issues raised, should have a clearer understanding regarding how they need to implement the BIM Level 2 / ISO 19650 requirements.

BIM Level 2 / ISO 19650 Business Systems Certification

Do you want to prove to your clients that your business has the capability to deliver BIM?

The BRE Global BIM Level 2 / ISO 19650 Business Systems Certification scheme assesses a business, based in any country, relating to the BIM policy and capability as defined within PAS 1192-2:2013 and PAS 91:2013. It is designed to be used with contract forms, Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQs) and demonstrate BIM Level 2 maturity.

If your company has compliant BIM ISO 19650 documentation, policies and procedures in place, you may wish to proceed directly and submit an application for document review. However, we advise clients to undertake our pre-assessment service which has been proven to reduce the time and possible additional costs within the certification process.

Once a company has completed the document review, a site audit can be arranged. On successful completion of the on-site audit, meeting all scheme requirements including the closure of non-conformities, BIM ISO 19650 Business Systems certification will be issued.
