Most Recent ProjectVOLO - Photography / Branding

This is a small personal project that I have been working for the past few months. I started this project as a per-sonal challenge for myself. The goal was to start off with an idea and then convert it to a profitable niche. My area of focus was Sports and Outdoors where I felt there was an opening in the market. I did an extensive reserch into the chosen market and decided to launch my own private label product.

Responsible for branding, photography, webdesign, management and marketing.

Personal Project

This project had an extremly tight budget and therefore the resources were very limit-ed. Nevertheless I felt that I made the best out the situation by trying various alternetive methods to get the results I wanted. This photoshoot was taken using an entry level DSLR without any ligting equipments or flash. The image was taken in HDR format to capture the various lighting dinamic which was than later compressed and composed using photoshop / lightroom.

In this project the client wanted me to design the whole branding, aswell as the logo concept and colour scheme. The idea behind the logo was very simple yet effective, the cricle represents a tennis ball flying through the air and the two curved lines are the speed lines left behind. The client was really happy with the colour scheme and the logo concept therefore asked to further design multipe branding products.

Sport77 is a online retail store basied in Netherlands. This was definetly one of the biggest project that Ive worked on. I Was responsible for doing the packaging & Branding, colour scheme, app / web template designs. It was quite a challeng-ing task to take on at that time as a student. But learnt alot from that experiance in terms or time management, commu-nication and Design. I was later able to impliment the knowl-edge into various other projects.

Project done as a freelance project for firecurlde-sign . This was a forest fire avation company which was baised in UK. The colour scheme was predeter-mined, however they were very unsure on type of logo they requred therefore did multiple examples which helped them come to a conclusion.

This was our final year project, we wanted to try something complelty diffrent from out peers and make a Motion Graphics short film. The project was extremely fun to work on, mainly because the topic was so broad we constantly expremented with various abstract techniques to get Interest-ing andunique results.

The film was very sucessful and went on to win the VFX award at the university which was a very humbling experience.

LOGOS / FLYERIdentity & Branding

Client baised in america wanted a flyer done for their hotel business, they were looking for very clean and professional looking design. I went with a very minimalistic approach to represent them and the quality of service they provide in the best light. The logo was provided by the client to be used in the flyer, I felt that the very desaturated blue worked well for this poster. And the yellow fonts were used to highlight the key points.

This project was done for a small charity organitaion baised in france. The clined requested a logo to represnt their association. The colour scheme were predeclared as the client wanted the colours to match the flag of the town they were baised in.

This design was done for Firecurldesign as the client ordered a package deal and the responsiblity for the logo was passed on to me. It was a building company baised in UK the clients were very easy to communicate with and gave me more control on the clour scheme / designs.

This was a small Digital painting commison work that I did for an exhibition. I really enjoyed digital painting, it was a fairly new experiance for me and on top of that, working with colours in painting took some time to get used to. overall It was quite a fun and broad brief, really enjoyed experimenting aswell as the freedom to explore new techniques.

The digital painting was made from scratch, using a graphic tablet. I used a refrence image to help me during the process.

This is another peice that was done as a commison for the same exhibition, surprisingly this was the first com-pleted digital painting I ever did. I had alot of experice with drawing but was very new to Digital Painting.

However I was quickly able to get the hang of it and transfer the knowledge and experiance I gathered from my art background to a digital from. The painting was done with base linework to start with, then the value block in phase and last but not least Rendering.

This was my Entry peice done for Excellence in Drawing 2014 competition. It was quite an exciting competition with lots of amazing entrys, I was lucky enough to make it to the top 10 entry however was unsucessful to land the top three spot.
