Jardín Etnobotánico de Oaxaca http://www.gardendesign.com/travel/oaxacas-ethnobotanical-garden Oaxaca’s indigenous peoples are known for their textiles, ceramics, cuisine, and complex use of plants. The earliest evidence of plant domestication of squash and corn in the Americas was found in Oaxaca. To this day, wild plants are used throughout the region for food, crafts, and medicine. To tell the area’s history this ethnobotanical garden was formed with a unique arrangement of plants by ecological and cultural themes.
