About Us
BH Lifts is established in Dorset and have the overall aim of
bringing elevation to all larger households and industries
in the county. Technology is the future, becoming
cheaper by the year! With this in mind and space always
being thought for, vertical instead of horizontal makes
more and more sense year by year, making this an
inevitable way forward.
We as a company have 15 years experience in design and
installation of lifts, managing to the very highest
standard.

BH Lifts are proud to be able to offer a luxury styled platform lift that make
elevation difficulties a more manageable task. We can offer various design
options and with this simple solution navigation of steps are made obsolite, this
type of lift can be within a structured shaft with options of full height door or
just a half door design as per the picture below.
Scissor Lift
– BH scissor lift platforms don’t need side holders, such as walls. They
are formed by a set of crossed articulated bars as a displacement
mechanism triggered by an hydraulic unit.
– This equipment allows vertical movements of load, being developed
and produced according to our customer’s request.
– BH Lift produces, as standard, three types of scissor lift platforms as:
SIMPLE SCISSOR (stroke 0,6 x length of the table)
DOUBLE SCISSOR (stroke 1,2 x length of the table)
TRIPLE SCISSOR (stroke1,8 x length of the table)
– All scissor lift platforms are projected according to the
EN2006/42/CE Directive of Machinery and present the European CE
seal of approval.

Stopping accuracy
Due to its gearless motor and state-of-the-art inverter, Our passenger lifts offer
excellent stopping accuracy that does not exceed 2mm while the ride quality
exceeds all quality standards (measurements based on ISO 18738).
Emergency evacuation
In the unlikely event of power failure, the emergency evacuation system ensures the
safe transportation of passengers to the nearest floor where the doors automatically
open as to allow the car exit.

Safety and durability in public buildings are enhanced with the special features for
vandal resistant lifts (EN81-71), firefighting lifts (EN81-72) and earthquake
resistant lifts (EN 81-77 or ASME A17.1).

Our products have been designed according to the Eco design principles (ISO
14006) and holds an Environmental Product Declaration in compliance with ISO
14025.
– Scaffoldless installation
BH Lift has developed a cost saving scaffoldless method to install with minimum
assistance from the builder.
