    Our focus is on S355 G10+m thermomechanically rolled plates. Above 100 mm, plates are generally normalised steel. We are typically able to supply the plate requirements of several FPSO modules from stock.

  • Oakley Steel supplies a wide range of structural steel plate to customers across SE Asia. Our focus is on providing customers with high-end steels that are not rolled or stocked locally. We have a large stock of S355 to EN10025-2 in our Netherlands warehouse.

    We offer structural steels to EN10025. This covers the standard non alloy structural steels (EN10025-2), fine grain structural steels (EN10025-3), thermomechanically rolled fine grain structural steel plate (EN10025-4) and the high yield strength structural steels (EN10025-6).

    Oakley Steel is a specialist supplier of thick 400 HB and 500 HB wear-resistant steel plate. We keep Dillidur 400 and Dillidur 500 plates in stock, with a focus on heavier plates between 50 mm and 150 mm.

    Our focus is on customers with extreme requirements for wear-resistant steel plate, and who cannot use thinner abrasion-resistant plates. Typical usages for our heavy 400 HB plates include penstock construction in the hydroelectric and mining industries.

    Oakley Steel specializes in the supply of boiler and pressure vessel steel plate ex-stock to fabricators and ASME stamp manufacturers across SE Asia. Pressure vessel steel plate is used for many applications where the inside pressure is significantly higher than the atmospheric pressure. We stock a full range of boiler grades, including HIC resistant steel.

    We have one of the world’s largest stocks of HIC resistant steel for sour service use. Dicrest is specially formulated to comply with the sour service

    requirements of many of the major oil companies, making acceptance simple. Renowned for their excellent values, most plates have CLRs significantly better than the 5% required by standards.

    If you require stocks of chrome moly steel for high temperature use (such as in power stations), take advantage of one of the largest stocks by thickness, plate dimensions and tonnes in Europe.

    Oakley Steel carries a large stock of shipbuilding steel plate. This is normally used for shipbuilding and offshore use. We focus on supporting customers requiring thicker and higher quality plates especially when through thickness testing is important.

    In general, our steel plates for shipbuilding are approved by either Lloyds Register of Shipping (LRS) or Det Norske Veritas (DNV). We can also support customers who require shipbuilding plates to ABS, although this comes as an additional report to the MTC.

    We are particularly equipped to supply a large number of 100 mm or thicker plates to DH36 or EH36, often with additional through thickness testing.

  • We have a large stock of high yield steel plates for engineering applications. The high yield plates are S690QL and S690QL1 to EN 10025-6 with additional stocks with yields at S890QL, S960QL and S1100QL.

    These plates are typically used by crane manufacturers, in jackup rigs for the oil and gas industry, and in a variety of structures where high yield steel is required for additional strength or to cut weight.
