The event features mainly readings and encounters with Italian and Israeli authors, but also hosts a couple of exhibitions, guided tours and con- certs, the most notable of which is probably a “Jewish Jazz” concert by the Israeli jazz musician Dan Zamir. The inauguration event stars the famous author A.B. Yehoshua in conversation with the Italian journalist Marino Sinibal- di. Other names that stand out are those of 2010 Man Booker Prize winner Howard Jacobson and of Menashe Kadishman. A whole day is dedicated to the analysis of the Talmud with the participation of religious and lay experts. Events take place in and around the Portico d’Ottavia in Rome’s Jewish “ghetto”.
