The best blackened melodic Iron Maiden ever.Adramelech - Psychostasia 1996. Demigod 2.0 The demos are absolutely killer too.Grotesque - In the Embrace of Evil anthology from 1997. Quality SwedeathNecrophobic - Darkside 1997. Killer blackened Swedeath.

Other stuff from those years worth checking outVader - De Profundis 1995 It's Vader.Intestine Baalism - Anatomy of the Beast 1997. Very good debut album but not asgood as their later ones.Incantation - The Forsaken Mourning of Angelic Anguish 1997. Cool EPSatyricon - Nemesis Divina 1996. Ted from Darkthrone made these fools somewhat enjoyable for one album and only one album. No palm muting present of course andthe album is still cheesy with the keyboards.Darkthrone - Panzerfaust 1995. Darkthrone Celtic Frost worshipDarkthrone - Total Death 1996. Darkthrone team up album.Darkthrone - Goatlord 1996. Darkthrone's 2nd death metal album but not as good as Soulside Journey.Immortal - Battles in the North 1995Immortal - Blizzard Beasts 1997

1 year off but you should still check out as some of them (the first two) are way better than the "other stuff" section:Incantation - Diabolical Conquest is 1998 but unholy fucking shit it's amazing.Bolt Thrower - For Victory is 94 but still close enough and along with Realm ofChaos their best.Pavor - A Pale Debilitating Autumn is 94 and very good.Darkthrone - Transilvanian Hunger 1994. It's Darkthrone.Amon Amarth - Once Sent From the Golden Hall is also 98 and their best.Sodom - Get What You Deserve 1994. I dig this one as unlike most thrash bands that sold out to make utter shit in the 90s, Sodom made a death metal album in 92(Tapping the Vein) and here explore their d-beating hardcore tendencies fully with no fucks given.Sorcier des Glaces - Snowland 1998. Killer low-fi old school black metal with no

 fucks given.

naked whipper - painstreaksreally gross grinding black metal, like early beherit. almost too gross for me,i go for evilness and somber sounds in black metal but i guess it says something that i still really like this.

succubus - destinythis is really cool.. kinda techy or at least tightly-played thrashing dm from russia. they have that kinda hellwitch weirdness to them, there are a lot of strange keyboard interludes that i don't really like honestly. maybe it's not really "of note" but it's special to me because i haven't ran into much like hellwitch
