Maundy Thursday The journey takes a dramatic turn

‘Do this in remembrance of me’

Before Jesus shared his last meal he washed the feet of the disciples ... as a servant, not as a king.

6.00pm

Evening prayer with reflections

Good Friday

‘Father, forgive them for they

know not what they do.’

‘By your cross and precious

blood you have redeemed us.’

The Roman soldiers mocked him, and called him 'the King of the Jews'. They placed a crown of thorns upon his head.

Jesus died.

Holy Saturday

In the stillness after the storm

we gather in vigil and prayer

to reflect upon the

saving work of God.

6.00pm: Liturgy of the Word

Renewal of baptismal vows

12.00 noon

Reflections on the Cross of Christ

Alleluia, Christ is risen!

He is risen indeed, Alleluia!

The tomb is empty. Jesus is alive! Mary Magdalene is the first to see him.

Jesus asks her to spread the news, 'The Master is alive!'

10.00am Eucharist
