1.13 Brief History: Bergen Pipe Supports (India) Private Ltd. (BPSI) was established in 2011, with a new, purpose-built plant for the manufacture of the Bergen range of supports being constructed in Chennai. Prior to that the Pipe Supports Group had a joint venture partner in India, trading under the name of Pipe Supports India Private Ltd. BPSI is wholly owned by Hill & Smith Holdings PLC. BPSI operates to international standards for all aspects of design, manufacturing processes and quality control. To satisfy customers’ domestic and export requirements BPSI uses the same fabricating equipment and quality assurance system as developed by our headquarters in the UK. Our Quality Assurance and Control systems have been assessed by Bureau Veritas and we are formally approved to the requirements of ISO 9001: 2008
