HALftiMEFor today’s halftime, the Jacksonville Jaguars are proud to induct former Jaguars running back Fred Taylor into the Pride of the Jaguars. Taylor was selected by the Jaguars with the ninth overall pick in 1998. In 11 seasons with the Jaguars, he started 136 of 140 games and finished with 11,695 rushing yards.
He led the team in rushing in eight of his 11 seasons. Only the best of the Jaguars will be inducted the Pride of the Jaguars, and today marks a historic moment as Taylor is honored with many former Jaguars on hand to recognize Fred as part of Jaguars Alumni Weekend. Today’s ceremony will include a special video presentation followed by the unveiling of Taylor’s place in the Pride of the Jaguars. Please remain in your seat to join us in celebrating this momentous occasion.
NAtiONAL ANtHEMPerforming the national anthem will be recording artist Ana Christina. Ana Cristina is a Cuban-American singer/songwriter from Miami. She has released records in the past with Sony Music Latin and was the first Hispanic person in history to perform the “Star Spangled Banner” at a Presidential Inauguration in 2005. Ana Cristina has also performed at the White House for the President in 2006 in honor of Hispanic Heritage month. Today’s colors will be presented by the NAS Jacksonville Honor Support Team.
On hand to interpret the Star Spangled Banner for the hearing impaired are students from the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind.
Following the national anthem there will be a flyover conducted by Navy T-45C Goshawks from VT-86 Sabrehawks based at NAS Pensacola.
The VT-86 Sabrehawks are the Navy’s Advanced Tactical Jet NFO training squadron based out of
Pensacola. Naval Flight Officers who complete this phase of training earn their coveted wings of gold and go on to fly tactical Navy and Marine Corps aircraft including the F/A-

Sporting a 1-2 record, the Jaguars return home for back-to-back games beginning Sunday, September 30 against Cincinnati. Kickoff is set for 4:05 p.m. Former Jaguars running back Fred Taylor will be inducted into the franchise’s Ring of Honor at halftime of Sunday’s game as part of the first Alumni Weekend. Taylor, the club’s first-round draft pick in 1998, started 136 of 140 games in 11 seasons with the Jaguars and led the team in rushing in eight of 11 seasons.

Jaguars Foundation welcomes youth to the HONOR ROWS® Please join Shad and Ann Khan along with the entire Jaguars organization in recognizing the youth seated in the Honor Rows. We congratulate them on their accomplishment of earning their seat to Sunday’s game. These youth have set and achieved goals of personal and academic achievement, physical fitness and volunteer service. The youth have also pledged to not use tobacco, alcohol or illegal drugs. More than 4,000 youth and chaperones will sit in the Honor Rows this season. Game-day volunteers are provided by the United Way of Northeast Florida. More information on the Honor Rows
Come ride with JTA and say goodbye to driving and parking hassles. Stadium Shuttle passes can be purchased by phone, (904) 630-3110, on JTA’s website or at the JTA Administration Building, 110 N. Myrtle Street. Stadium Shuttle passes can also be purchased on game day at any JTA Park-n-Ride lot.
Guests who park in the Prime Osborn Convention Center and Kings Avenue Garage lots will receive a voucher for a free item at the concession stands. This week’s voucher is redeemable for a regular size hot dog.
AWAY GAMESLatitude 30 is now the Official Away Game Headquarters of the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Fans will be able to watch all of the Jaguars 2012 road games at Latitude 30 and will enjoy appearances from the ROAR cheerleaders, Jaguars mascot Jaxson De Ville and the Jaguars D-Line throughout the season.
