We are a New York-based swimwear label started by two best friends, Monique and Gabriela, different in many ways yet we both share a common interest in our love for life, family and friends. We grew up extremely active in the summer beaches of New York and noticed there weren’t many swimsuits that complimented our personalities and New York savvy lifestyle. We found there were little choices between a sexy Brazilian cut, a classic all American brand, and a vintageinspired swimsuit. We dreamt for years about creating an American swimwear brand for womenthat would combine the sexy contemporary, the sophisticated classic feel, and a certain vintage flare, taking in our mixed homeland cultures of European and Latin American coastal lines. We wanted to make bathing suits that we could wear and feel sexy, comfortable and confidant in, whether here or abroad.

We love bold color-blocking and nautical stripes. When we were thinking about the design of our bathing suits, we knew they had to be functional and comfortable, but we like to balance design with comfort as effortlessly as possible. Having both come from Technical Design backgrounds we take fit into huge consideration. We don’t believe you have to have a perfect bikini body in order to wear a bikini; you just have to be you and love yourself as you are.

We remember telling ourselves “why couldn’t we find bathing suits that fit as comfortable as our underwear?” So we spent many hours fitting and making sure our swimsuits are not tight and uncomfortable. We believe you can find a swimsuit for just about anyone’s personality and body type within our line. Our motto is “There is a suit for every Body!”

We believe in being (semi) reckless and never looking back. Plus we like our swimsuits to be terribly impractical in the sense that it can be worn anywhere and goes with your own personality and body shape. Most importantly when we wear one of our bathing suits we want to be reminded of all of the places we've been, the people we love, the moments we don't want to forget. We believe your style is dictated by feeling more than anything else; we want our bathing suits to make you feel as both soft and strong, and that cool-girl vibe while being your true self!
