INBAR Garden theme: Bamboo and Rattan for Innovative Green Growth

INBAR Garden in partnership with Meishan Municipal Government this year will feature a

bamboo structure pavilion, living (grass) roof, lush bamboo garden and glass roofing to

showcase the natural bamboo culms that make up the main structure.

The INBAR Garden is 3200 m²with around 1200 m² of pavilion space designed with bamboo

and rattan materials. The interior design will highlight the many versatile applications and

functions of bamboo and rattan in:

Art and culture

Production and innovation, ecosystems and biodiversity

Eco-tourism

Sustainable buildings and communities

Notable features:

- The diameter of the whole pavilion is 32 meters; which displays the technological

potential of bamboo structure.

- Spacious centrally placed auditorium area with seating for 200 people (closed

space will seat 100 guests).

- Projector screen and stage for visual displays, performances and lectures.

- Interactive video wall screen in exhibition area.

- Bamboo and rattan exhibition of products from China and other Member

Countries.

- There is a shop & Café area in the pavilion.
