This  month  we  plan  to  have  a  Family  Fun  Night  BBQ  at  the  Butler’s  home  on  September  30th.    Therefore,  the  Fellowship  Meal  after  Sunday  service  has  been  moved  from  September  27th  to  September  20th.          Women’s  Retreat  -­‐  Friday,  Nov.  6-­‐  Sunday,  Nov.  8        We’ll  be  discussing  retreat  details  before  we  begin        the  women’s  study  on  October  6th.          Davra  would  like  your  room  preference  soon!

Karen Lafferty, a graduate of ENMU in 1970, has ministered and performed in more than 70 countries. She was crying out to God at church one night as she was hearing a teaching out of Matthew 6. “It kind of burned in my heart and I said, ‘OK, God, that means my rent and my car payment.’ I went home, and I had my joy back and my faith back. I picked up my guitar when I got home and actually wrote the melody then on my guitar.” Karen became part of Maranatha! and published “Seek Ye First” in 1972. It is what has made her life as a missionary possible.
