B.E.E. is an acronym for B ring E verything E veryday. This 3-ring binder houses EVERYTHING students and parents need to keep up-to-date with what is going on at school. Gone are the days of wrinkled papers and lost notes, newsletters, or calendars. No more searching the house to find paper in order to write a note to school. Everything you need is in one notebook! BEE books are important! They help students to establish good organizational skills - - - - - - - skills that can carry on throughout their life. Money and Notes Pouch This pencil pouch will house notes “for the teacher” and notes “for parents” - - it is also the place to put money for book orders, lunch, milk, and field trips. Please label the money, so that its purpose is clear to the teacher. I will check the pouch daily. Behavior Sheet The monthly behavior sheet is attached to the front of the 2-pocket folder. Please sign your child’s behavior sheet each night. 2-Pocket Folder Newsletters, school notes, field trip permission slips, homework, and monthly calendars, will be placed in the 2-pocket folder. The left hand side is for papers to be “LEFT at Home” and the right hand side is for papers to be brought RIGHT Back to School.” Once homework is completed, place it in the folder on the right hand side. Resource Section This section will include resources that you can use with your child throughout the year. Rules for B.E.E. Binders Do take care of your B.E.E. Binder; it will be used all year! If you damage or lose the binder, there will be a $5.00 replacement fee. Please take care of the binders…they will be used again next year. Do not make any marks or drawings on/in your B.E.E. Binder. Do keep your B.E.E. Binder clean. Do check every section every evening, and clean out anything that is old. The only section that is not to be cleaned out is the Resource Section. Do take your B.E.E. B.E.E. is an acronym
