    Bearing to Bear

9Thus saith the Lord GOD; No stranger, uncircumcised in heart, noruncircumcised in flesh, shall enter into my sanctuary, of any stranger thatis among the children of Israel.

10And the Levites that are gone away far from me, when Israel wentastray, which went astray away from me after their idols; they shall evenbear their iniquity.

11Yet they shall be ministers in my sanctuary, having charge at the gates ofthe house, and ministering to the house: they shall slay the burnt offeringand the sacrifice for the people, and they shall stand before them tominister unto them.

12Because they ministered unto them before their idols, and caused thehouse of Israel to fall into iniquity; therefore have I lifted up mine hand

against them, saith the Lord GOD, and they shall bear their iniquity.

13And they shall not come near unto me, to do the office of a priest untome, nor to come near to any of my holy things, in the most holy place: butthey shall bear their shame, and their abominations which they havecommitted.

14But I will make them keepers of the charge of the house, for all theservice thereof, and for all that shall be done therein.

15But the priests the Levites, the sons of Zadok, that kept the charge of mysanctuary when the children of Israel went astray from me, they shallcome near to me to minister unto me, and they shall stand before me tooffer unto me the fat and the blood, saith the Lord GOD:

16They shall enter into my sanctuary, and they shall come near to mytable, to minister unto me, and they shall keep my charge.

17And it shall come to pass, that when they enter in at the gates of theinner court, they shall be clothed with linen garments; and no wool shallcome upon them, whiles they minister in the gates of the inner court, andwithin.

18They shall have linen bonnets upon their heads, and shall have linenbreeches upon their loins; they shall not gird themselves with any thingthat causeth sweat.

34Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I camenot to send peace, but a sword.

35For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in

law against her mother in law.

36And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

37He that loveth father or mother more than me is notworthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter morethan me is not worthy of me.

38And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me,is not worthy of me.

39He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth hislife for my sake shall find it.

32And he spake that saying openly. And Peter took him, andbegan to rebuke him.

33But when he had turned about and looked on hisdisciples, he rebuked Peter, saying, Get thee behind me,

Satan: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, butthe things that be of men.

34And when he had called the people unto him with hisdisciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will comeafter me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and

    follow me.

35For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; butwhosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's,the same shall save it.

    32Remember Lot's wife.

33Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall

lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall

    preserve it.

34I tell you, in that night there shall be two

men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and

    the other shall be left.

25He that loveth his life shall lose it; and hethat hateth his life in this world shall keep itunto life eternal.

    26

If any man serve me, let him follow me; andwhere I am, there shall also my servant be: ifany man serve me, him will my Father honour.

    The question is simply what?

God is going to deal with our self life basedon everything that we see in scripture. I dont

know what it is for each of us, but He alone

    does.

    Waste

3And being in Bethany in the house of Simon the leper, as he sat at meat, there came a woman having an alabaster box of ointment of spikenardvery precious; and she brake the box, and poured it on his head.

4And there were some that had indignation within themselves, and said,Why was this waste of the ointment made?

5For it might have been sold for more than three hundred pence, andhave been given to the poor. And they murmured against her.

6And Jesus said, Let her alone; why trouble ye her? she hath wrought agood work on me.

7For ye have the poor with you always, and whensoever ye will ye may dothem good: but me ye have not always.

    8

She hath done what she could: she is come aforehand to anoint my bodyto the burying.

9Verily I say unto you, Wheresoever this gospel shall be preachedthroughout the whole world, this also that she hath done shall be spokenof for a memorial of her.

    Bearing to Bear

Then Jesus six days before the passover came to Bethany, where Lazaruswas, which had been dead, whom he raised from the dead.

2There they made him a supper; and Martha served: but Lazarus was oneof them that sat at the table with him.

3Then took Mary a pound of ointment of spikenard, very costly, andanointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped his feet with her hair: and the housewas filled with the odour of the ointment.

4Then saith one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, which shouldbetray him,

5Why was not this ointment sold for three hundred pence, and given tothe poor?

    6

This he said, not that he cared for the poor; but because he was a thief, and had the bag, and bare what was put therein.

7Then said Jesus, Let her alone: against the day of my burying hath shekept this.

8For the poor always ye have with you; but me ye have not always.

9And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy totake the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thouwast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy bloodout of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and

    nation;

10And hast made us unto our God kings and priests:and we shall reign on the earth.

11And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels

    round about the throne and the beasts and the elders:and the number of them was ten thousand times tenthousand, and thousands of thousands;

1In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the LORD sitting upon athrone, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple.

2Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twainhe covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and withtwain he did fly.

3And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORDof hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.

4And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke.

5Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of

unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: formine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts.

    While

    Hebrews 3:15-19 (King James Version)

15While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.

16For some, when they had heard, did provoke:

howbeit not all that came out of Egypt by Moses.

17But with whom was he grieved forty years? was itnot with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell inthe wilderness?

    18

And to whom sware he that they should not enterinto his rest, but to them that believed not?

19So we see that they could not enter in because ofunbelief.
