Family Physicians: Yesterday’s Foundation,

Tomorrow’s FutureEach year, a portion of programming is dedicated to a special theme.

The 2015 theme highlights that family physicians are the foundation of the health care system, but are poised at the same time to meet patients’ needs in an ever-changing health care environment—specifically in the key areas of practice innovation and medical technology.

Family physicians serve as a constant among a steady state of change; they are modern doctors who keep the future in mind while providing whole-patient and community care.
