RESTAURANTS AGAINST HUNGER

The conceptRestaurants against hunger is a movement to involve individuals who have superior spending power in creating social change, simply through eating out!

Eating out is a firmly entrenched part of modern middle class culture. Imagine if that simple act were used for making a difference….

Participating restaurants donate part of the takings from selected dishes or invite their customers to make a voluntary donation to table bills.

It’s simple and free for you to join, and the emphasis is on enjoyment, not guilt: diners are encouraged to treat themselves to a restaurant meal and in doing so contribute to a cause close to their heart.

MISSION

To fight hunger with hunger. Hunger for food-Hunger for education-Hunger for self dependence


Making an optional/compulsory

donation when paying the bill

Hosting special events and evenings, fundraising dinners,

raffles

Holding theme dinners and

auctioning tables with celebrities

Keeping a donation box in the restaurant.

Get employees involved and enthusiastic- start a competition for who can

bring in the maximum donations from customers

Keep a CONGO-SHONGO kiosk at the outlet

How you can contribute


Funds collected at the end of 6 months will be pooled into a RAH Fund

RAH committee will decide to fund some hunger based project of an NGO

NGOs will give details of their hunger based projects and the best 3-4 will be funded through these collections
